Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on automation, security, reliability, and collaboration with development and DevOps teams to support cloud-based applications in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
- Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
- Configure and manage cloud networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, firewalls)
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using cloud-native tools
- Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets management, encryption, least privilege)
- Troubleshoot cloud incidents and perform root-cause analysis
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and security concepts
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Shell)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of SRE practices
- Experience with data platforms (Glue, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake)
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
