Blu Omega is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the Defense Health Agency’s mission to modernize and unify data management across the Military Health System by engineering and sustaining the cloud and platform infrastructure that enables enterprise data governance and an enterprise data catalog capability. The DevOps Engineer will automate deployments, manage secure and scalable environments, and implement operational best practices that support metadata standards, stewardship workflows, and trusted data visibility across distributed DHA systems in alignment with DoD VAULTIS principles.
- Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments to support enterprise data catalog and data governance platform capabilities
- Automate deployments and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable releases and rapid delivery
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational support processes to ensure platform reliability, performance, and service availability
- Support security, access controls, and compliance requirements to ensure governed data and metadata services are interoperable and protected across the enterprise
- Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation supporting enterprise systems
- Experience deploying and supporting cloud-based data platforms, governance solutions, or metadata/catalog services
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code to automate deployments and environment management
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices supporting controlled access, auditing, and enterprise governance in federal environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
