We are looking for a Technical Scrum Master who has spent years in the trenches of software development and transitioned into an Agile leadership powerhouse. If you have 7-8 years of coding experience and have spent the last 4-5 years leading squads in a fast-paced service environment, we want to talk to you!
The Profile Weβre Looking For:
The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of 7β8 years of hands-on development experience followed by 4β5 years of dedicated Scrum Master or Project Management leadership within a service-based or consulting environment. You will not only facilitate ceremonies but act as a strategic bridge between complex technical architecture and business value delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Governance & Delivery: Orchestrate all Scrum events for cross-functional teams, ensuring a high level of predictability, quality, and velocity in a multi-client service environment.
- Technical Advisory: Leverage your engineering roots to participate meaningfully in architectural reviews, identify technical debt risks, and assist the team in resolving complex blockers that a non-technical Scrum Master might overlook.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Navigate the unique complexities of service-based delivery, managing client expectations, scope negotiations, and resource alignment while maintaining team health.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion the adoption of advanced Agile and DevOps practices (CI/CD, TDD, Automated Testing) to shorten feedback loops and enhance deployment frequency.
- Metric Synthesis: Beyond standard velocity charts, you will analyze Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Quality metrics to provide executive-level reporting on delivery health and efficiency.
Your Qualifications:
- The Foundation: 7-8 years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer (Java, .NET, Python, etc.). You know what a "good" codebase looks like.
- The Transition: 4-5 years of experience acting as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
- The Environment: Significant experience within a Service-Based Organization or Global Consulting firm. You understand the nuances of billability, client-facing milestones, and SLA management.
- The Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps. Mastery of Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks,
- The Credentials: CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM I/II is highly preferred.
- The Mindset: You are a servant-leader who isn't afraid to get technical when the team needs it.
