Position Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud AWS Engineer to support the design, development, and modernization of a large-scale, enterprise cloud data and analytics platform. This role is ideal for a technically strong, forward-thinking cloud professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys building secure, scalable, high-performance systems that support mission-critical operations.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to architect and deliver next-generation cloud solutions, drive automation, and advance enterprise data capabilities. You will play a key role in strengthening cloud infrastructure, optimizing data platforms, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:Design, architect, and implement enterprise-scale AWS cloud solutions with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and reliability
Develop and support cloud-native data platforms, analytics systems, and reporting architectures
Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate complex data needs into scalable cloud solutions
Build and maintain data pipelines, streaming solutions, migration, and replication frameworks
Design and implement end-to-end automation for infrastructure, deployments, validation, and certification processes
Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Python, shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
Develop and maintain cloud architectures for data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse platforms
Implement DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, governance, and data integrity standards
Conduct proofs of concept (POCs) and evaluate emerging cloud and data technologies
Support adoption of cloud-native and third-party tools aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Provide technical leadership, documentation, and architectural guidance across teams
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to communicate technical value and business impact
Required Skills/Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale systems
3+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-based architectures
Strong expertise in AWS services, including:
RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB
Redshift, Databricks Lakehouse, cloud data platforms
Advanced skills in SQL, data modeling, and data governance
Experience with distributed data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Presto, SparkSQL, Cassandra, Solr)
Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Informatica, or similar platforms)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with Agile methodologies
Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability engineering
UNIX/Linux system administration experience
Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipeline architecture
One or more cloud certifications (AWS preferred)
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, cross-functional enterprise environments
