Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Cloud Engineer to join our growing IT team in Florida. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. You will assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions primarily in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Monitor cloud systems performance, availability, and security.
- Support migration of on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
- Configure virtual machines, storage, networking, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide technical support.
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and procedures.
- Follow security best practices and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc., if applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
- Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of virtualization and containerization (Docker is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or similar certification.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Internship or academic project experience in cloud computing.
