Job Role: Agile Delivery Lead – Localization Platform
At Deluxe, we are modernizing how the world’s biggest film and TV content gets localized and delivered globally. Our next-generation localization platform powers subtitling, dubbing, metadata, and complex studio workflows across international markets.
We are seeking an Agile Delivery Lead who will partner with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable, cloud-based localization software. This role goes beyond traditional project management — it is responsible for driving delivery execution, improving team velocity, removing obstacles, and ensuring high-quality releases in a fast-evolving microservices environment.
This leader will operate at the intersection of product strategy, engineering execution, and operational excellence to ensure Deluxe continues to innovate in media technology.
Role Objectives
- Drive end-to-end agile delivery of localization software initiatives across multiple Scrum teams.
- Enable predictable, high-quality releases while maintaining flexibility in evolving product roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product to translate roadmap priorities into executable delivery plans.
- Ensure alignment across engineering, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Execution & Delivery
- Facilitate and coach Scrum ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives) to maximize team effectiveness.
- Drive sprint predictability, velocity tracking, and release planning across multiple workstreams.
- Remove blockers quickly and proactively manage cross-team dependencies.
- Lead program-level coordination for complex, multi-service initiatives.
- Ensure features move from concept through deployment with measurable outcomes.
Localization Platform Focus
- Support delivery of microservices-based architecture supporting subtitling, dubbing, metadata, and content workflows.
- Coordinate releases impacting studio clients, OTT platforms, and global partners.
- Work closely with Product to ensure localization workflows are scalable, efficient, and future-ready.
- Enable successful beta rollouts and phased deployments across global regions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations to ensure seamless releases.
- Track and manage integration points across systems and external vendors.
- Provide clear visibility into delivery risks, trade-offs, and timeline impacts.
- Support technical teams in maintaining architectural integrity and best practices.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track delivery KPIs (velocity, cycle time, defect rates, release stability).
- Lead retrospectives that result in actionable process improvements.
- Optimize team workflows to increase throughput without sacrificing quality.
- Drive release readiness reviews and post-implementation assessments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in Agile delivery, Scrum leadership, or technical program management within software development.
- Experience delivering SaaS or enterprise platforms in a cloud-native environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and scaling methodologies.
- Experience coordinating across multiple engineering teams.
- Ability to communicate technical delivery status clearly to executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in media, entertainment, post-production, or localization technology.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience supporting global B2B platforms and complex workflow systems.
- Scrum certifications (CSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM) or equivalent.
- Experience improving team maturity and coaching engineers in Agile best practices.
