Build cloud infrastructure that keeps global operations running.
Join a team modernizing large‑scale systems and accelerating cloud‑native adoption through automation, Infrastructure as Code, and high‑impact observability practices. This role designs, automates, and operates AWS environments using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and modern monitoring tools. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, QA, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platforms. The position plays a key role in application modernization, AWS migrations, platform optimization, and mentoring team members.
Duties:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket) for applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and operate observability platforms (Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace) to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Support migration of legacy workloads into AWS and enable adoption of services like ECS, Lambda, Aurora, and S3.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and build reusable automation modules.
- Participate in code reviews and champion automated testing, monitoring, and release best practices.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD, observability, and deployment issues for engineering teams.
- Document processes, create playbooks, and share infrastructure diagrams.
- Lead complex infrastructure initiatives and drive improvements across IaC, CI/CD, observability, and cloud architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and DevOps culture development.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally and help shape long‑term cloud strategy (AWS‑first with some Azure support).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
- 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, VPC, IAM).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform (required), plus experience with tools like Packer or Chef.
- Hands‑on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Linux/Windows systems, networking, performance tuning, and Git‑based workflows.
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor, lead, and influence technical direction.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in hybrid/remote environments.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours based on project needs.
