✅ What We’re Looking For
· Operational Support:
Provide day-to-day operational support for our cloud-based systems and services, ensuring high availability and performance for our connected tools and outdoor products.
· Monitoring and Incident Management:
Implement and manage monitoring tools, including Datadog/Mixpanel, to proactively identify and address system issues. Participate in incident response activities, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services.
· Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and product management, to ensure the reliability and security of our systems. Contribute to the implementation of best practices for system operations and security.
· Cloud Management:
Utilize your AWS knowledge to assist in the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources, including API Gateway with Lambda functions, DynamoDB, RDS, and frontend hosting on S3 with CloudFront.
· CI/CD Practices:
Drive the implementation and management of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile and web applications using Bitbucket-CI and Jenkins, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery processes.
· DevSecOps Implementation:
Support the integration of security practices into the DevOps process, transitioning to a DevSecOps model that emphasizes security at every stage of the development lifecycle. Experience with GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, GRC, policy development and management, control mapping.
· Compliance Readiness:
Understand SOC2, GDPR, NIST, ISO27001 standards and other regulatory audits.
· Infrastructure as Code:
Automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), enhancing operational efficiency and consistency.
· Continuous Improvement:
Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for optimization. Collaborate with the team to implement improvements and document processes for knowledge sharing.
· Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and incident reports. Assist in delivering regular performance reports and KPIs to stakeholders.
