Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced - DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native infrastructure and internal platform tooling. The ideal candidate combines strong AWS expertise, solid Golang development skills, and deep infrastructure knowledge, with the ability to drive technical initiatives across distributed systems.
In this role, you will architect scalable services, enhance platform reliability, optimize data pipeline performance, and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang
- Build, operate, and maintain secure, highly available AWS infrastructure
- Automate operational workflows using Linux and shell scripting
- Work extensively with MySQL internals, including replication, binlogs, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable deployments
- Implement and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices
- Improve system reliability through monitoring, logging, observability, and operational excellence
Core Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Golang
- Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.)
- Strong Linux fundamentals and shell scripting skills
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Good To Have Skills
Experience with one or more of the following :
- Data CDC or ETL pipeline development involving Iceberg tables, Hive Tables
- Trino sizing. Implementation, monitoring.
- Kubernetes architecture and operational best practices
- Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Monitoring and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana
