As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you’ll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a custom cloud CLI tool to streamline internal cloud operations and workflows
- Build and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on AWS
- Develop automation solutions using Python to improve provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize cloud practices and improve developer experience
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform or similar.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency
- Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices and compliance standards
- Contribute to documentation, tooling standards, and internal platform strategy
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
- Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tool development
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and CLI tool design patterns
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM concepts
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or maintaining developer tools or CLI applications
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance strategies
- Background in DevOps or platform engineering practices
