Responsibilities:
In this role, you will support the deployment of microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline in a Linux-based multi-tenant environment. You will design, implement, secure, and troubleshoot AWS virtual networks, including VPC connectivity, while developing, updating, and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipeline code. You will configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers, review code in Git, create engineering and DevOps documentation, support developer deployments and testing, provide technical guidance across capabilities and microservices, and perform security remediation based on scan results.
Required Qualifications:
Self-starter who communicates clearly and works well across teams
Experience developing and reviewing custom software solutions
Strong GitLab experience, including scripting and pipeline troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with AWS services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, and EKS
Experience designing and supporting serverless solutions with Lambda and API Gateway
Experience supporting development, integration, and test activities
Experience working with modern cloud architectures
Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and release workflows
Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of software development and sustainment lifecycle practices
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other team collaboration tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep experience with GitLab CI/CD
Experience with AWS Lambda and ECS in production environments
Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting Docker containers
AWS certification such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
Linux certification
Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial platforms
