Are you a skilled Cloud Security Engineer with a passion for securing and maintaining cloud-based networks? Take2 is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and support critical national security initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud systems, ensuring their stability, security, and efficiency while making a meaningful impact. The position is ideally based in Boston, MA, but we are open to remote candidates close to a SIPR site who can obtain the necessary clearance. Responsibilities
- Drive the stability and sustainability of cloud-based networks and software systems for scaling and reliable operations
- Perform system integration, verification, validation, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems
- Create proactive engineering mechanisms to enable the team to manage the health of distributed VMs
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications
- Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools, and processes
- Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud systems engineering or related field
- Active Secret clearance
- At least one cloud certification and IAT-2 certification
