Client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Production Support organization, dedicated to delivering exceptional system stability, performance, and resilience across our cloud-based archival platforms. In this role, you will help drive the evolution of our observability capabilities, enhance realtime visibility into application performance, and automate response mechanisms to reduce operational risk and improve recovery time.
Main Tech Stack
- AWS Support and monitoring
- Kubernetes deployments, Kafka
- Production Support (Java)
- Experience triaging production issues, locating performance improvements, and working with Engineering Teams
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation) Good CICS System knowledge would be valuable.
- Terraform
- Linux
- Networking, Firewalls, Load balancers
- Containers & Orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes
- Programming – Java, Python, bash, Powershell
- CI/CD and dev ops tools
- Monitoring, Logging and Observability
- Database and Storage knowledge
- Ability to problem solve, create documentation and collaborate to multiple teams.
- Trouble shoot under pressure
- Gen AI knowledge a plus
- Motivation to learn basic mainframe navigation
