Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with 15–17 years of strong technical and architectural expertise across software design, infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud platforms, and DevOps toolchains. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in infrastructure and platform engineering, coupled with deep hands-on experience in modern automation practices and enterprise-scale solution design.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business requirements with technical solutions, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.
- Define and maintain end-to-end solution architecture, covering application, infrastructure, security, and integration layers.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or equivalent.
- Architect and guide containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
- Design and support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Oversee infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and release strategies.
- Provide architectural governance, best practices, and design standards across projects.
- Act as a technical advisor to senior leadership, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Mentor and guide architects and senior engineers on architecture patterns and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 15–17 years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure to solution and enterprise architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Cloud-native and hybrid cloud platforms
- DevOps practices and toolchains
- Deep understanding of:
- Containerization and orchestration technologies
- RESTful APIs and integration architectures
- Security, scalability, and performance considerations in enterprise systems
- Proven experience in infra/platform development and system automation.
- Excellent architectural documentation and design skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and architecture reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Ability to influence architectural decisions and drive alignment across teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and SRE practices.
- Exposure to domain-driven design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, Kubernetes, etc.) are a plus.
