Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, automation, and observability, with a proven track record of driving infrastructure improvements, mentoring peers, and collaborating across engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (scaling, performance tuning, troubleshooting at scale)
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, IAM, VPC networking)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems administration including performance optimization
- Strong programming and scripting in Python (automation, tooling, infrastructure pipelines)
- Expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent)
- Solid background with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong understanding of networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud deployments
- Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
- Familiarity with container security and supply chain security best practices
- Experience with AI-driven automation for infrastructure (predictive scaling, anomaly detection, self-healing systems)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
