Position Details
Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Harrisburg, PA (Mechanicsburg, PA – 1920 Technology Parkway)
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Important Notes
- Hybrid role (60% remote / 40% onsite)
- Candidates must be willing to relocate if not local
- Onsite Day 1 required for equipment pickup and onboarding
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications and APIs using technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, Python, and containers
- Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions in Azure and AWS
- Support application modernization, migration, and integration initiatives
- Deploy and manage cloud services including:
- Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, SQL, Storage)
- AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS)
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and networking (VMs, VNETs, NSGs, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute)
- Support containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, ECS, and Azure Container Apps
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Artifactory, and NuGet
- Apply SDLC, software engineering, and architecture best practices
- Support AI-enabled solutions, including:
- GPT model integration
- Prompt engineering
- Chatbots, summarization, and semantic search use cases
- Ensure performance optimization, cost management, security, and compliance in cloud environments
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of Azure cloud experience (compute, storage, networking)
- 5+ years of AWS experience
- 4+ years of cloud-native application development and integration experience
- Strong experience with cloud architecture, migration, and modernization
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancing)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.)
- Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Azure Fundamentals / Azure Solutions Architect
- Strong development experience with:
- .NET / .NET Core / C#
- Python
- Experience with AI/ML integration, including:
- Prompt engineering
- Chatbots, semantic search, and document summarization
