Role Overview
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and event-driven cloud architectures. The role focuses on serverless development, cloud integrations, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement serverless applications using AWS services
- Develop and manage Lambda-based integrations and workflows
- Build event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SQS, and Step Functions
- Integrate cloud services with backend systems and APIs
- Implement security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management)
- Configure storage solutions (S3, databases) with proper lifecycle and security policies
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
- Implement infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Configure networking (VPC, security groups, WAF) for secure environments
- Collaborate with development teams for end-to-end delivery
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on AWS experience: Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager
- Experience with Amazon Connect: contact flow design, outbound API, agent configuration, and Streams API integration support
- Proficiency with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) for multi-environment provisioning
- Experience designing serverless, event-driven architectures at production scale
- Strong understanding of AWS security: IAM policies, KMS encryption, VPC, security groups, WAF
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar)
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (EKS / Kubernetes)
- CloudWatch metrics, dashboards, alarms, and Log Insights for operational monitoring
