Role Summary
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong database and coding capabilities to support and scale our global infrastructure platform. This role focuses on database reliability, performance optimization, and automation, ensuring high availability and efficiency across large-scale distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain database infrastructure across distributed environments
- Manage and optimize databases (e.g., TiDB, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve database operations and reduce manual effort
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database and infrastructure deployment
- Monitor system health and database performance, and implement alerting and incident response mechanisms
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis for database-related incidents
- Improve observability, including logging, metrics, and tracing for database systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one database: Redis / TiDB / MySQL / MongoDB
- Solid experience in database DevOps / database operations (must-have)
- Experience with distributed systems and high-availability architecture
- Familiarity with Linux systems, networking, and performance tuning
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
