Role Overview
As a
Cloud Engineer, you will build and manage the cloud infrastructure powering client environments. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of cloud, platform engineering, and AI systems.
You’ll work closely with engineering and client-facing teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance environments.
Requirements
Experience:
- 3+ years in cloud or platform engineering (Azure preferred)
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Experience with scalable cloud environments and Terraform
Networking & Security:
- Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, and secure connectivity
DevOps & Automation:
- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and scripting (Python, Bash)
Backend & Data:
- Experience with backend systems and database design (OLAP vs OLTP)
General:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with a statically typed language (Java, C#, or Go)
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure:
- Design and manage scalable cloud environments (Azure)
- Optimize performance, cost, and reliability
Networking & Security:
- Build secure connectivity (VPNs, VPCs, private endpoints)
- Implement authentication and security controls
Automation & DevOps:
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure
- Improve monitoring and system reliability
Client Environments:
- Provision secure, isolated environments
- Support onboarding and standardize deployments
Backend & Data:
- Optimize systems for high-volume data workloads
- Manage databases and caching strategies
Collaboration:
- Work with engineering and product teams on infrastructure decisions
