The
Cloud Engineer (Advisor) is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across enterprise environments. This role focuses on multi-cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code to support mission-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise along with the ability to influence cloud strategy and mentor engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant cloud architectures
- Build and manage multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Develop secure and highly available infrastructure solutions
DevOps & Automation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Develop scripts and automation using Python and other tools
Program Execution & Strategy
- Develop and execute cloud infrastructure strategies
- Align cloud solutions with business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Optimization & Performance
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance and scalability
- Use analytics and KPIs to improve platform efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system issues
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Provide technical advisory to stakeholders
- Develop technical documentation and executive presentations
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of cloud engineering experience
- Strong experience with AWS (mandatory), Azure, or GCP
- Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with Python scripting and automation
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Experience designing fault-tolerant and highly available systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience in enterprise / mission-critical environments
- Experience with cloud-native tools (Lambda, SNS, etc.)
- Strong understanding of compliance and security frameworks
