🚀 Senior Cloud & Automation Engineer (AWS / Terraform / Ansible)
📍 Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
💰 $140,000 – $180,000
We’re working with a globally recognised organisation operating at serious scale, looking to bring in a hands-on Cloud & Automation Engineer to support and evolve a complex, high-availability environment.
This isn’t a pure architect or a ticket-based support role — it’s a true engineering position where you’ll be building, automating, and improving cloud infrastructure across a large enterprise platform.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling)
- Building and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Automating system configuration and deployments with Ansible
- Supporting and optimising Linux environments (RHEL / Ubuntu / Amazon Linux)
- Driving improvements across automation, reliability, and performance
- Monitoring systems, handling incidents, and carrying out root cause analysis
- Collaborating with engineering, security, and platform teams on deployments and changes
✅ What we’re looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- Proven experience with Terraform (modules, state, scalable deployments)
- Solid Ansible experience (playbooks, automation, config management)
- Strong Linux administration background
- Experience working in enterprise environments (not just greenfield/startups)
- Good understanding of networking, security, and system performance
âž• Nice to have
- Exposure to VMware, Citrix, or Nutanix environments
- CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Basic containerisation knowledge (Docker / Kubernetes)
- Scripting with Bash or Python
đź’ˇ Why this role?
- Work in a large-scale, complex environment where automation actually matters
- High-impact role with real ownership — not just maintenance
- Strong mix of cloud engineering + automation + platform reliability
- Opportunity to influence how infrastructure is built and improved
If you’re someone who enjoys building clean, automated infrastructure in AWS and working in a fast-paced, enterprise environment — this is well worth a look.
