DevOps Engineer📍 Remote💼Full-Time, Exempt💰 Estimated Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 Base + Bonus + Equity🛂 U.S. Citizenship Required A leading cloud‑first technology organization is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and scale our secure, multi-tenant cloud environments. You'll own automation, cloud operations, and reliability engineering across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The RoleYou will design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role focuses heavily on Infrastructure as Code, cloud security, and automation for complex environments that require strong compliance and auditability. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Manage provisioning and deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- CI/CD & Policy‑as‑Code
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Embed automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks
Observability & Reliability
- Automate monitoring, dashboards, and alerts (Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, Azure Monitor)
Security & Secrets Management
- Manage secrets and credentials via KMS, Key Vault, or Vault
- Integrate CI/CD workflows with identity providers (Azure AD, IAM Identity Center, Okta)
- Enforce least‑privilege, rotation, and secure automation practices
Containers & Kubernetes
- Deploy and manage workloads in EKS, AKS, or GKE
- Use Helm, ArgoCD, or Kustomize for automated deployments
Compliance & Cost Optimization
- Maintain IaC and pipelines aligned with NIST, SOC 2, or similar standards
Requirements
- 3-5 years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native automation
- Exposure to security or compliance frameworks (NIST, SOC 2, FedRAMP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with at least 2 major cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Cerfications such as: AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Terraform Associate, CompTIA Security+
