Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Multi-Cloud, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and automation. The role involves building and managing scalable infrastructure, driving automation, supporting migrations, and collaborating with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client handling and technical discussions, ensuring smooth delivery of DevOps solutions.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for microservices and infrastructure deployments.
- Manage and optimize Yotta Cloud resources with a focus on cost optimization.
- Work with Kubernetes (RKE, AKS, Dashboard) for orchestration, scaling, and monitoring.
- Implement containerization with Docker, Podman, and Docker Swarm.
- Manage S3-compatible storage (Azure Blob, Yotta S3, MinIO) for applications and data.
- Drive cloud migration projects (on-prem → cloud, VM → Kubernetes/microservices).
- Configure and secure cloud networking (load balancers, ingress, firewalls, DNS).
- Support microservices-based architecture deployments in Kubernetes and VM environments.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and automation.
- Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Perform Linux server administration, automation with scripting, and Git/GitHub workflow management.
- Manage database administration and migrations (Postgres, SQL backup/restore, tuning).
- Document standards, SOPs, and runbooks for delivery and operations.
Mandatory Skillsets
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Jenkins CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code
- Prometheus & application monitoring
- Cloud services
- Troubleshooting experience, Identifying root cause of issues, Linux command line.
- Experience in cloud migration
Equivalent Or Good To Have Skills
- AKS or EKS or RKE or GKE would be good enough for any managed Kubernetes cluster. Not easy to find candidate with specifically on AKS & RKE skillset.
- Containerization with Docker must be mandatory, Docker Swarm can be optional. [If the projects runs on Docker Swarm, we need experienced candidate]
- Private registries can be optional too. Dockerhub or any other cloud registry experience would be fine.
- SonarQube, OPA, SAST, DAST tools experience is good to have [not-mandatory]
- Cloud Certification would have added advantage.
- Observability tool integration such as Dynatrace, Datadog, NewRelic etc.
- Agentic Solution wrt Infrastructure Management would be nice to have
Education
BE/BTech, Information Technology, or related discipline.
