We are hiring a Business Development Manager to generate and close international clients via Upwork for DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure services.
This is a high-impact role focused on building a consistent pipeline of mid to high-ticket deals ($500โ$5000+).
This is NOT a bulk bidding role.
We are looking for someone who understands positioning, client qualification, and deal conversion.
๐ฏ What Youโll Own
- Lead generation via Upwork (Project Catalog + proposals)
- Writing high-converting, tailored proposals (no copy-paste)
- Qualifying leads and filtering low-quality clients
- Handling client communication and requirement discovery
- Negotiation and closing deals
- Managing full sales cycle (lead โ close)
- Positioning technical services clearly to non-technical clients
- Maintaining CRM and pipeline tracking

- Kubernetes infrastructure setup
- DevOps & CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud architecture (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience on Upwork
- Demonstrated success in closing international clients
- Experience selling technical or IT services
- Strong proposal writing (structured, persuasive, customized)
- Clear and confident client communication
Basic understanding of:
- Kubernetes / Docker
- DevOps workflows (CI/CD)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
