🔍 About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in modern DevOps practices, cloud-native technologies, and telecom domain exposure. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring high availability and performance of complex applications across environments.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
- Define, build, and maintain multiple environments (Development, Staging, UAT, Production)
- Configure and manage servers, cloud platforms, and infrastructure components
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Onboard and manage VNF/CNF workloads, including configuration automation using Ansible
- Implement deployment strategies like Blue-Green and Canary Releases
- Manage containerized environments using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops) to optimize delivery pipelines
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and technologies
🧠 Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Expertise in Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Helm
- Hands-on with Cloud Platforms: OpenStack, RedHat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell)
- Strong Linux expertise (RHEL/Rocky Linux) with kernel tuning
- Solid understanding of networking, system administration & security
- Experience with debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Hands-on with Git (GitHub/Gerrit) and JIRA
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
⭐ Good to Have
- Experience with Microservices & Serverless Architectures
- Knowledge of database optimization
- Familiarity with Agile & DevOps culture
- Telecom domain experience (2G/3G/4G/5G, VoIP, VoWiFi)
- Knowledge of telecom protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, HTTP2, TLS)
- Experience in test automation and execution of test plans
