Your Role As a Zenika Consultant
In this role, you will bring your deep expertise to client projects, acting as a technical advisor and architect. You won't just be a "gatekeeper"; you will be a partner, empowering client teams to own their infrastructure while you elevate their development practices.
What You’ll Do
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and implement robust, production-grade infrastructure on AWS EKS, utilizing Kubernetes for container orchestration to ensure high availability.
- Modernize Delivery: Help clients transform their workflows by developing and maintaining advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize environments and reduce drift by implementing automation with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Secure & Optimize: Implement service mesh technologies like LinkerD to secure service-to-service communication and proactively manage cloud costs and performance.
- Enable Observability: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with client development and QA teams to facilitate seamless integration. You will be an advocate for continuous learning, contributing to a culture of technical excellence.
What You Bring
- Proven AWS Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EKS, RDS, and networking components.
- We value deep hands-on expertise combined with a consultant's mindset.
- Containerization Mastery: Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for custom automation tasks.
- CI/CD & IaC Proficiency: Hands-on experience with GitLab/ArgoCD pipelines and Terraform/Terragrunt.
- Soft Skills: You are a problem-solver who communicates clearly, acts as a team player, and remains detail-oriented even in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Nice-to-Have: Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA. Familiarity with E2E tools like Cypress or Playwright and microservices architecture is highly valued.
