Green Light has an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre, experienced DevOps Administrator to join one of our delivery partners at their offices. This position will provide end-to-end support, working closely with internal stakeholders of end customers to successfully deliver the capability
The technical stack across both the front- and back-end of this cloud-based, agile environment will be a large, data-driven, high-reliability platform. This role will be responsible for the development and automation, specifically with Azure automation technologies.
This team provides end-to-end delivery capability for an established project for a large end customer.
Responsibilities:
- Write Azure scripts using CLI, PowerShell, ARM.
- Create Azure Automation to work across multiple platforms.
- Focus on monitoring and alerting.
- Deliver in an enterprise level environment.
- Collaborate with other engineers to follow best practices.
- Suggest ways to better improve existing processes and/or create additional ones to improve quality and efficiency.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders within the business.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Demonstrated experience with Azure AD, Cybersecurity & Authentication – IDAM, OAuth.
- Good experience in Azure Automation, DevOps CI/CD.
- Proven ability to do Azure scripting using CLI, PowerShell, ARM.
- Working knowledge on Analytics, Monitoring & Auditing, Alerting and Incident Management and Cost Management.
- Past experience on Jump Hosts (Windows, Linux)
- Hands on experience on Containers (App Servers, Kubernetes, Docker) will be highly regarded.
- Solid stakeholder and vendor management skills
