Role : Devops Engineer
Location: Onsite in NewYork

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and workloads in Amazon EKS.
- Build and maintain GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD and GitLab.
- Implement and manage Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform operations using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and other tools to enable reliable and repeatable application deployments.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root cause analysis for incidents.
- Partner with application, security, and cloud engineering teams to improve release efficiency and platform resilience.
- Establish best practices for containerization, cluster management, scaling, and high availability.
- Strengthen platform security through policy enforcement, secrets management, access controls, and network security.
- Support performance tuning, cost optimization, and platform modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proven experience deploying and managing workloads on Amazon EKS.
- Solid expertise with ArgoCD and GitOps deployment practices.
- Strong experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, networking, IAM, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
