Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Cloud Engineer to join our team in San Diego. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services. You’ll work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, managing, and monitoring cloud infrastructure
- Support cloud-based application development and deployment
- Configure and maintain cloud services and environments
- Help automate infrastructure using scripts and tools
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability
- Follow security best practices for cloud environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix or Windows)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic project experience with cloud technologies
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
