Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure supporting. You will work closely with application, security, and operations teams to enable CI/CD automation, improve system reliability, and ensure production stability in a regulated FinTech environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who enjoys owning platforms end‑to‑end and working on systems where availability, security, and performance are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and secure cloud / hybrid infrastructure supporting payment systems.
- Maintain and optimize Linux‑based production environments for mission‑critical applications.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
CI/CD & Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Improve deployment reliability with blue‑green, canary, or rolling deployment strategies.
Cloud, Containers & Orchestration
- Operate and enhance container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift / EKS).
- Manage cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP preferred) with focus on cost, scalability, and security.
- Support microservices‑based architectures.
Reliability, Monitoring & Incident Management
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Lead and participate in production incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post‑mortems.
- Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and resilience.
Security & Compliance
- Embed security best practices into DevOps pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Support compliance requirements relevant to payments (e.g. MAS, PCI‑DSS where applicable).
- Work closely with security teams to handle vulnerabilities and audits.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, SREs, QA, and product teams.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technology roadmap planning.
Requirements
Must Have
- 6–10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Linux systems administration
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Experience supporting high‑availability, production‑critical systems
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system performance
