About the Role
We are seeking proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as DevOps Intern at HealthleticLifestyle. As a next-generation health, wellness, and fitness start-up, an aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in containerization, cloud infrastructure, and automation. In this internship you will assist in deploying and managing containerized applications, writing Helm charts for Kubernetes, and supporting cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will also have the chance to enhance your skills in CI/CD workflows, secret management, and scripting in Linux environments. Our app offers a comprehensive range of online services, including healthy food recommendations, home workout solutions, customized workout plans, nutrition guidance, and wellness insights.
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in app DevOps. Collaborate with experienced developers, designers, and product managers to create solutions that improve users' health and well-being.

Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy and Manage Containerized Applications: Assist in deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Helm Chart Management: Write, maintain, and optimize Helm charts to ensure efficient Kubernetes deployments.
- Secret Management: Work with HashiCorp Vault to manage sensitive data like credentials and API keys.
- Infrastructure Provisioning: Help provision and monitor cloud infrastructure, especially on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
- CI/CD Pipeline Support: Collaborate with development teams to streamline and improve CI/CD workflows to ensure efficient and automated software delivery.
- Scripting and Automation: Contribute to automation efforts by scripting and working with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and help ensure platform stability.
- Documentation: Document DevOps processes, best practices, and procedures to improve team workflows and maintain knowledge repositories.
Requirements:
- Basic Containerization Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Kubernetes Basics: Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and usage, including deployment and scaling of applications.
- Helm Charts: Knowledge of Helm charts and how they facilitate the deployment of applications on Kubernetes.
- AWS Knowledge: Awareness of AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and other common AWS offerings.
- Linux Command Line: Experience or exposure to Linux environments, including command-line operations and shell scripting.
- Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to learn tools like HashiCorp Vault for secret management and other DevOps practices.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
CI/CD Tools: Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools is a plus.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Basic understanding of Terraform or other IaC tools.Open-Source Contributions: Contributions to DevOps or open-source projects will be considered a plus.
