Requirement Description:
- Manage and support enterprise infrastructure environments across:
- Linux/Unix and Windows servers
- Virtualized and cloud environments
- Middleware and application hosting platforms
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and system availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, outages, and performance bottlenecks
- Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure components
- Collaborate with application, database, network, security, and DevOps teams
- Implement infrastructure automation and operational improvements
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and banking regulatory requirements
- Support disaster recovery, backup, and high availability strategies
- Participate in on-call support rotations and incident management processes
Required Qualifications to be Successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Strong experience with Server provisioning and configuration management
- Good knowledge of Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls); Enterprise storage and backup solutions
- 5+ years of experience with Shell scripting; Python or Powershell
- Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines & DevOps practices
- Experience supporting Enterprise applications & middleware platforms
- Experience supporting database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
- Experience performing root cause analysis (RCA)
- Understanding of system performance tuning and capacity planning
- Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Banking or Financial services industry is a plus
- Exposure to cloud platforms – AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus
