Role Description: Engagement Manager (Mumbai):
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The Engagement Manager would manage multiple consulting engagements end-to-end across geographies, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables and strong client relationships. Support business development, cross-selling, and thought leadership initiatives, leveraging BFSI knowledge and Cedar toolkits. Thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment with a focus on execution, problem-solving, and organized project management
Key Accountabilities:
1. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and leading team/client meetings to ensure smooth project execution and measurable value.
2. IT & Digital Banking Strategy Advisory
- Support IT transformation, core banking modernization, cloud migration, API banking, and emerging technology initiatives; provide insights on industry trends and vendor selection.
3. Program Management & Delivery Oversight
- Manage multiple consulting engagements end-to-end across geographies, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables, risk mitigation, and adherence to governance frameworks.
4. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach consulting teams; leverage Cedar toolbox and best practices to drive high-performance delivery.
5. Commercial & Business Development Support
- Support business development, cross-sell initiatives, proposals, thought leadership, and practice development including toolkits and promotional content.
6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Drive adoption of agile, DevOps, and digital transformation practices; stay updated on fintech innovations, regulatory changes, and lessons learned to enhance delivery effectiveness.
Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s in Banking, Finance, or Management from a top-tier business school.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in delivery leadership and engagement lead roles.
- Experience in BFSI/ Fintech/ Financial services & Bank tech domains.
- Strong analytical and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- Deep understanding of financial services and FinTech domains.
- Excellent academic pedigree and consistent performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for knowledge and adding value to client engagements.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for international travel.
- PMP, Prince2, or Six Sigma certifications would be an advantage.
