Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Telecom Cloud Engineer with expertise in NFV/VNF/CNF, OpenStack, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Python, and Ansible automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and supporting telecom cloud infrastructure and cloud-native network functions for next-generation telecom environments.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of 4G/5G core networks, telecom cloud operations, and exposure to AI/GenAI-driven automation and AIOps solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage NFV/VNF/CNF-based telecom cloud infrastructure and ETSI-compliant NFV architectures
- Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot OpenStack, OpenShift, and Kubernetes environments across telecom platforms
- Automate provisioning, scaling, healing, and configuration management using Python and Ansible
- Develop orchestration scripts, APIs, and automation workflows for telecom operations and cloud-native deployments
- Support onboarding, orchestration, and lifecycle management of VNFs/CNFs using MANO platforms such as ONAP and OSM
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Manage and support telecom cloud environments with strong understanding of SDWAN, 4G/5G Core networks (EPC, IMS, AMF, SMF, UPF), and telecom protocols such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP/2, and 3GPP standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and related monitoring tools
- Provide L2/L3 production support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for telecom cloud infrastructure
- Utilize AI/GenAI tools such as Claude, GPT, and Copilot for intelligent automation, prompt engineering, AI-assisted debugging, incident triage, log analysis, predictive maintenance, and AIOps use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-native transformation and AI-enabled telecom operations
- Relevant certifications in OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or Telecom/5G technologies are preferred
