We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI expertise to drive end-to-end cloud migration initiatives and integrate modern AI capabilities into enterprise workloads. The ideal candidate will lead complex migration projects, architect scalable AWS solutions and bring innovative Generative AI services into cloud transformation processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end migration of on-prem applications to AWS (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor)
- Assess existing infrastructure, identify dependencies and define a migration strategy
- Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures
- Utilize AWS migration tools such as AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync and Snowball
- Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline)
- Implement monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads including chatbots, automation and data insights
- Apply Generative AI and AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs to modern cloud solutions
- Drive AI-driven automation in DevOps and migration processes
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in cloud engineering and migration roles
- Expertise in leading end-to-end AWS migration projects (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor)
- Proficiency in AWS migration tools including AWS MGN, AWS DMS and AWS DataSync/Snowball
- Skills in AWS compute services such as EC2, Lambda and ECS/EKS
- Knowledge of AWS storage services including S3, EBS and EFS
- Background in AWS database services such as RDS, Aurora and DynamoDB
- Competency in AWS networking with VPC, VPN and Direct Connect
- Understanding of AWS security services including IAM, KMS and Secrets Manager
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus
- Exposure to Generative AI services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs, along with prompt engineering and LLM-based application use cases
