Job Summary
Our Retail & Consumer Goods client is seeking a Senior SDET who will incorporate experience and skills to define and drive innovative automation test strategies and incorporate them into the development cycle within the Agile teams. This position collaborates with multiple teams and automation engineers to deliver excellence for all work items within Quality Engineering for software development and deployment.
Core Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployments and infrastructure automation
- Use Terraform to provision, manage, and scale cloud resources, including containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters
- Implement and support container orchestration, ensuring seamless integration between software and underlying hardware
- Manage and enhance the observability stack using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana
- Configure log pipelines, dashboards, and alerting rules to ensure system reliability and rapid incident response
- Automate repetitive tasks, environment provisioning, and deployment workflows to improve engineering velocity
- Partner with development, QA, and platform teams to ensure smooth delivery and operational excellence
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) - Hands?on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure services, and cloud?native architectures
- Terraform Expertise — Strong proficiency in Terraform for IaC and environment provisioning
- Kubernetes — Experience deploying, scaling, and managing workloads in Kubernetes clusters
- CI/CD — Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Observability Tools — Experience with Splunk (primary), plus familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana
- Scripting — Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and tooling
- Systems Integration — Ability to integrate software systems with underlying hardware and infrastructure components
Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of container security best practices and vulnerability scanning
- Experience designing dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and alerting strategies
- Ability to analyze system performance and optimize resource usage

Compensation & Benefits - Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $75.00 and $80.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
