DevOps Engineer

Role Summary
Supports the Sr DevOps Engineer in pipeline operations, environment management, and release automation. Responsible for day-to-day pipeline maintenance, build troubleshooting, and deployment support for development squads
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines for assigned microservices and frontend applications
- Troubleshoot build failures, test failures, and deployment issues across Dev and UAT environments
- Manage Docker image builds and container registry operations
- Support automated deployment of Helm releases to Kubernetes environments
- Monitor pipeline execution and report build health metrics
- Assist with environment refresh, data seeding, and configuration management tasks
- Document pipeline configurations and runbooks for handover
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services environments
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (image building, Dockerfiles, cluster deployments
- Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests
- Basic scripting skills (Bash or Python
- Experience with Git branching strategies and repository management
- Understanding of audit, compliance, and controlled release processes in regulated environments
