Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and Grafana to manage, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS services, container orchestration, monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment
- Configure and manage monitoring and alerting using Grafana and Prometheus
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
- Implement logging and observability frameworks
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:
- EC2, S3, VPC
- EKS (Kubernetes)
- RDS, IAM
- CloudWatch
- Expertise in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, networking)
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and monitoring tools
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio/Linkerd)
- Experience with log management tools (ELK/EFK stack)
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments
- Exposure to GitOps tools (ArgoCD/Flux)
