Knidal® is building an AI-native knowledge platform designed for seamless human experiences and machine-ready content.
We build with AI across the entire development process, so the engineering that matters most to us now is the operational backbone that keeps everything reliable, secure, and fast. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own deployment, reliability, and infrastructure end to end. We are a small team, so this person will wear multiple hats: your core expertise will be DevOps, but you will also dip into the platform, web prototypes, and product work as the moment demands.
What You'll Do
- Build and run the deployment pipeline with safe rollouts, rollbacks, and fast feedback
- Own reliability across the platform: observability, alerting, SLOs, and incident response end to end
- Design, provision, and evolve cloud infrastructure as code for scalability, security, and cost efficiency
- Pitch in beyond core DevOps when needed: backend platform work, design and implementation of web prototypes, and other product work
- Use AI tools to move fast across all of this, and be an active part of how we innovate and set the bar
What We're Looking For
- Strong DevOps or SRE background operating production systems, with solid Terraform expertise (Hetzner experience a plus)
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, containers and orchestration, observability tooling, and security fundamentals
- A multiple-hats mindset: ready to step into platform, and other facets when the team needs it
- Uses AI tools fluently to increase productivity, and is curious about applying them beyond the obvious
- Honest learner with a growth mindset, strong ownership, and clear communication; Bengaluru-based candidates strongly preferred
Work Model
This is a full-time role. We operate on a hybrid model, balancing collaboration and flexibility:
- In-Office: Required in our Bengaluru co-working space for team collaboration days
- Remote: Work from home on independent work days
