My client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and scale its Azure cloud platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD automation, cloud platform reliability, and DevSecOps best practices, supporting the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing technology platforms across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
- Drive automation, standardisation, and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Embed security, governance, monitoring, and cost optimisation across the platform.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure and Terraform.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, security, and identity services.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and cloud security tooling.
