JD:
Primary Mission
- Maintain AWS environments that are secure, compliant, reliable, and cost-optimized.
- Act as the custodian of AWS platform health, enforcing governance, security, and cost controls.
Day-to-Day:
- Maintain and improve Terraform/CloudFormation templates in collaboration with Software Developers, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
- Provision accounts, VPCs, networking, IAM roles, EKS/ECS, RDS
- Apply SCPs and guardrails
- Manage cross-account access patterns
- VPCs, subnets, routing,
- VPC peering patterns, general networking operations.
- Implement least-privilege
- Rotate keys, enforce MFA
- Respond to security findings
- Ensure logging via configured properly.
- Update tags and ensure accuracy
- Review cost explorer and usage reports
- Rightsized compute and storage
- Report on cost trends
