SRE / Devops Engineer
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, observability (logging, monitoring & alerting), and SRE principles.
- Proficiency in setting up end to end observability solutions.
- Strong understanding of logging/monitoring tools like ELK, Grafana, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana or similar solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and expertise in infrastructure as code (IaaC) using CloudFormation.
- Excellent scripting and automation skills using languages like Python.
- Solid knowledge of version control systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Experience with incident management and on-call support for critical systems is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Highly skilled and experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer with specialization in observability (logging, monitoring & alerting)
- Design, develop, and maintain Observability (logging, monitoring & alerting) pipelines.
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement to maintain optimal service levels.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and address operational challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the business and end-users.
- Continuously improve observability solutions thru industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Document processes, configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge sharing and smooth onboarding for new team members
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
