Job Description
We are looking for a
DevOps & Automation Engineer to contribute to both project-based programs and ongoing (BAU) operations. You will use hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud platforms, with a focus on allowing cryptography and digital certificate solutions.
The Engineer will collaborate with all partners to build automated operational processes. You will emphasize scalable cloud-based cryptographic service deployments, following an infrastructure-as-code approach.
As a critical member of the global Data Protection team, you will help build and support a multi-cloud automated platform (IaaS) that enables encryption and digital certificate services across the organization.
You bring a background in cloud-focused software engineering and automation, with expertise in scripting, modern DevOps practices, and supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms.platform. You will report to an Engineering Manager.
Summary Of Primary Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure as code on AWS / Azure / GCP using best practices and implementations for nonproduction and production environments with a primary focus being AWS
- Implement automated configuration and deployment process towards improving functionality, availability, and manageability of cryptographic objects across cloud offerings
- Lead technical operations on main projects from requirements to design to implementation
- Improve productivity in delivery orchestration, proactive monitoring, self-healing automation and operations validations
- Related to these mission-critical services and build automation to prevent their re-occurrences
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions, collaborating across engineering, security, and business teams.
- Advocate for DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling to enhance security and resiliency posture while reducing friction for customers availing the services.
- Ensure operational coverage, whilst driving automation and new ideas using modern engineering practices such as Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code while following engineering delivery and platform security requirements.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation and other such solutions.
- Integrate observability and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch) for performance and security governance.
- Collaborate with agile teams to ensure secure, reliable and in-time code delivery.
- Provide hands-on engineering support during off-hours, incident troubleshooting, and on-call production support on a rotational basis.
- Improve processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps culture.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of overall experience as below:
- Software engineering comprising of developing, and operating and scalable cloud infrastructure services
- Experience in cloud infrastructure projects with hands-on migration expertise on public clouds such as AWS and Azure with a primary focus on AWS
- I am experienced in writing IaC to apply AWS Data protection services. These services include KMS, Certificates, and HSM, which I can implement across other AWS consumer services like LB, EKS, S3. I also have experience with DevOps and IaC tooling. This expertise includes CDK, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git, Groovy, Shell scripting, and Bitbucket.
- I am proficient in automation and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform. I have expertise in coding and scripting using Python, Ansible, AWS SDK and CLI, and PowerShell. Additionally, I am knowledgeable about Configuration as Code principles and API integration. I also understand Authentication and Authorization Services, and Identity and Access Management.
- Integrate and improve SOAR platforms like Tines and Demisto for incident response and workflow automation

- Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional
- Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) - Expert
