What You'll Do
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines that take code from commit to production with minimal manual intervention
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Set up automated testing, security scanning, and quality gates within the delivery pipeline
- Implement feature flags to support controlled rollouts and beta launches
- Establish monitoring and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar, tracking uptime, performance, and deployment frequency
- Work with product and engineering teams to improve release processes and reduce cycle time
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, establishing team standards and best practices
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate progress on infrastructure and delivery initiatives
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, with at least 2 years leading or mentoring a team
- Solid working knowledge of AWS (and/or Google/Azure) services - EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC networking
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools for managing cloud environments
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
- Good understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and secrets management
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments
- Clear communication skills - comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
- Experience with LLMOps and MLOps
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or Veeva from a deployment or integration standpoint
