About Role:
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who can take ownership of infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production reliability. You will work closely with backend engineering and security teams to improve system scalability, observability, automation, and platform stability.
This is not a “click-ops” role — we are looking for someone with strong debugging capabilities, automation expertise, and systems thinking who can proactively identify and solve infrastructure challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and improve AWS-based cloud infrastructure
- Deploy, monitor, and scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS/self-managed)
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform or equivalent tools
- Configure and manage secure infrastructure components including IAM, VPCs, secrets management, and network security
- Improve system observability through monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting tools
- Handle production incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability improvements
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud costs
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
- Ensure secure API communication practices including mTLS, rate limiting, and secure networking standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency and platform reliability
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks
Required Skills:
- Strong Linux fundamentals including processes, networking, system debugging, and performance troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Load Balancers, and related services
- Strong Kubernetes experience including deployments, services, ingress, scaling, and cluster debugging
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform
- Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, and load balancing
Security & Reliability
- Understanding of:
- mTLS
- Rate limiting
- Secrets management
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Backup and disaster recovery strategies
Good to have:
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to fintech, cybersecurity, or security-focused production environments

Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering
