About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join a dedicated client project team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, data platforms, and DevSecOps practices, with a strong focus on designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
You will play a key role in architecting Azure Landing Zones, enabling data governance with Purview, implementing Databricks solutions, and driving CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, while supporting cross-cloud migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Define governance, identity, and security models across subscriptions and tenants.
Data Platform Engineering
- Develop and maintain solutions using Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Implement data governance, cataloging, and compliance using Microsoft Purview.
- Collaborate with data teams to optimize pipelines and performance.
CI/CD & DevOps
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Drive DevOps best practices for efficient and reliable deployments.
Cloud Migration
- Lead and support cross-cloud migration initiatives (AWS/GCP to Azure).
- Perform assessment, planning, and execution of migration strategies.
- Optimize workloads post-migration for performance and cost efficiency.
DevSecOps & Security
- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Implement vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and security controls.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Configure monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize cost and performance.
- Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Azure Landing Zones
- Azure Databricks
- Microsoft Purview
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
- Proven experience with multi-cloud migration to Azure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
- Solid understanding of networking, identity (Azure AD / Entra ID), and security frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
- Familiarity with data engineering ecosystems.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203, or AZ-400.
