Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Strong Python and PowerShell development experience
- End-to-end DevOps lifecycle understanding (non-negotiable)
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Experience with Git-based tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory (or similar)
- Azure cloud experience (required)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile tooling
- Experience with Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps
- Monitoring tools experience (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar)
- Ansible experience
- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and production support within SLA
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Terraform (big plus)
- Experience in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem)
- Exposure to enterprise/global on-call models

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a DevOps & Tools Engineer to support enterprise application development teams by building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up, driving automation, and improving platform reliability within an Azure environment. This role is highly hands-on, requiring strong Python and PowerShell scripting and a deep understanding of the DevOps lifecycle end-to-end. The engineer will work closely with development and DevOps leadership to implement scalable processes, enhance tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git-based tools, Jira, Confluence, Octopus Deploy), and integrate solutions such as SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics. Responsibilities also include supporting system health, troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring systems meet SLA expectations, while participating in an on-call rotation within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Compensation:
$110,000 to $125,000 per year annual salary.
