Cloud DevOps Engineer — Multi-Cloud Network Automation

About the Role
ResoluteConcepts is hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support and extend our multi-cloud network management platform. You'll work across a modern Python web application and a fleet of serverless helper services that automate IP address management, VPC/VNet provisioning, and network operations across GCP, OCI, AWS, and Azure. We're investing heavily in our GCP and OCI footprint, so depth in either is especially valuable.
What You'll Work On
• Multi-cloud management platform: manages GCP VPCs, OCI networks, AWS VPCs, and Azure VNets — subnets, route tables, NSGs/security groups, NAT gateways, peerings, and IPv6 allocation.
• Serverless helper services (AWS SAM + Docker-based Lambdas): VPC-isolated functions for tasks like Infoblox IPAM operations and BYOIP IPv6 signing.
• IP Address Management (IPAM): CIDR allocation, overlap detection, address pools, and Infoblox WAPI integration.
• Background task processing: Celery workers handling long-running cloud operations with progress tracking.
• Legacy modernization: migrating capabilities from a legacy Go application into the current Python platform.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE role.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is very highly preferred — depth in at least one is required, and both is ideal. Strong AWS and Azure skills are a great foundation.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, NAT, security groups/NSGs, peering, IPv4/IPv6, and CIDR planning.
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda) and containers (Docker).
• Infrastructure as Code (AWS SAM, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and Git-based workflows.
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Familiarity with message/task queues (Celery, Redis, SQS, or similar).
Nice to Have
• IPAM systems, especially Infoblox WAPI.
• Migrating or maintaining Go applications.
• Enterprise identity (Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, OAuth/SSO).
• DNS automation and network security tooling (e.g., Zscaler).
• Government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
• Virtual WAN / hub-and-spoke topologies.
• BYOIP provisioning and cryptographic signing workflows.
