About the Role
KONE Technology and Innovation (KTI) is looking for a skilled and hands-on DevOps Specialist with strong expertise in GitHub and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD automation, cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, and AWS-based deployments. This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with development and platform engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD.
- Manage and support source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control workflows in GitHub and GitLab.
- Automate build, deployment, release, and infrastructure provisioning processes.
- Support and manage cloud-based workloads and services on AWS.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence through DevOps best practices.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and platform teams to streamline software delivery processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for deployment automation, security, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions (Expert Level).
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
- Working experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, automation, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production environments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
