Our Challenge
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team to drive automation, improve system reliability, and enable continuous delivery across enterprise platforms.
This role is responsible for building and supporting scalable, high-performing environments across the Software Development Lifecycle(SDLC), partnering closely with development, QA, and production support teams.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery and release management
- Build and manage infrastructure environments across development, test, and production
- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational processes using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment and production issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using enterprise tools and proactively address performance issues
- Maintain documentation for deployment processes, environment configurations, and operational procedures
- Contribute to release activities, including branching, merge resolution, and code promotion across environments
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet)
- Familiarity with source control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Subversion)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, ELK, Nagios, CloudWatch)
- Education Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Typically 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles

- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
